EXCLUSIVE: PETSEMATARY ‘Get Away With It’ Video Premiere

PETSEMATARY recently released their debut single on Beth Shalom Records, ‘Get Away With It‘ bristles with bittersweet and emotive harmonies, tumbling percussion and a suite of fuzzy guitars, its a promising debut from the Oxford outfit. Today we premiere the accompanying video edited by Will Tyler of Truman Dinosaur – they have made it in lockdown with contributions from their friends; watch it below.

Speaking about making the video, front-woman Gaby-Elise said, “We made this video in isolation and just wanted to make the most of the time we have pretty much sitting around doing nothing and make something wholesome and funny. We had to improvise with our setting a little bit…Luke and I are housemates in a pretty gross HMO in Oxford but we fortunately have a really aesthetically pleasing shed which I think ended up looking alright? Jack is based elsewhere in Oxford and Cas is in London, and then we ended up asking a bunch of our mates to film themselves singing along to the song, and got our mate Will Tyler of Truman Dinosaur to edit the video together for us. Lockdown has been weird but we’ve just tried to make the best out of it and this is what we came up with.”
