The Psychotic Reaction could perhaps induce just that, if you didn’t listen to the music and give them a fair chance: it could come across simply as a short burst of noise, but there is far more to it than that. Their variable rainbow of sounds jumps out the speakers and gives a good impression of a multitude of bands playing at the same time in perfect harmony, it’s magical and promising and this stand alone single ‘A Moment Of Clarity’ is the perfect way to fall in love with this band. It’s not often that a band truly is this hard to define, but these Whitstable boys are doing a fine job of it.
It's actually not off the album - it's all completely new material. We still cling to the idea that singles can be good things in their own right and don't have to be promoting an album.
