Tel-Aviv’s Lorena B have released the video for their latest single ‘Swallow my Gum 2′ watch it below. An intriguing mix of sensuous vocals dub step interludes and experimental rhythms, its quite a concoction with shades of Aphex Twin, Bjork and Goldfrapp.
Lorena B was formed in 2009. In the past three years, they have become very popular in the IL music scene, and recently have released their debut album ‘Siblings’ to rave reviews in the IL press.
The album was written, composed, recorded, produced and mixed in their home studio. Their music combines soft silky voice, electronic beats and textures and warm live instruments. The band has recently played a few UK gigs, and had their latest single played by Jarvis Cocker (Pulp) on his BBC radio show, on London’s XFM and on blogs around the net.
Since they were formed, the band cooperated with DJs like major dubstep producer – ‘BORGORE’, played as main support for the ‘Junior Boys’ and worked with some of Israel’s finest artists.
Lorena-B’s members are leading Tel-Aviv’s underground scene as popular DJs in parties, their own radio show, fashion shows, photography and of course their live shows.
