From the creators of ‘Lost' comes an explosive new drama, HEROES – a show about ordinary people discovering they have extraordinary powers. The hit series is currently the number-one show in America with weekly viewing figures exceeding 14million and increasing every week. Heroes is predicted to be a global phenomenon and looks set to grab the imagination of UK viewers when it premieres on the SCI FI channel in February 2007.

Each block-buster episode costs $2 million to make and is littered with CGI and special effects usually reserved for Hollywood films. The breath taking action sequences and cutting-edge drama are guaranteed to keep British viewers gripped from start to finish. Creator Tim Kring says of the number one show, “We sort of made a pact internally that we weren't going to be the show that made you wait for stuff.”

HEROES WILL PREMIERE ON THE SCI-FI CHANNEL 19th FEBRUARY AT 10PM STARTING WITH A DOUBLE BILL OF EPISODES ONE AND TWO

$2 million...per episode? There is something so wrong with that. Anyway, have heard good things about this, and so you should for the cost of it!!

"And they let children play this, you say? I mean, it's pretty strong stuff, isn't it Eddie? You know, knights TAKING prawns, and apparently if a prawn "goes all the way" he turns into a queen!" - Richie on the finer points of chess.

From the creators of Lost?
Well, it's bound to be fucking brilliant.

NB: We need a "sarcasm" tag or font colour. This post is left wanting without them.

They should bring back The Heroes, as in the 80s mini-series about Australian commandos in World War II starring Jason Donovan. They don't make them like that any more...
