Shameless advert for Paul Hawkins & Thee Awkward SIlences' new single 'I've Had My Fun' The single itself is out now and available to purchase on limited edition CD direct from http://www.jezusfactory.com and for you modern people unlimited digitally from Itunes...
For our mind it’s one of the best singles the band have put out and certainly one of the darkest. If you can’t relate to it you are very lucky indeed, but unfortunately I imagine many of you can!
The promo video is here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZnRX7XOOYkQ

Press Release:
i H8 Camera – Volume 1
Released 19th January on Limited Book Edition CD via Jezus Factory
Debut CD release from all star Belgian jam band featuring members of dEUS, The Love Substitutes, Kiss My Jazz, Evil Superstars, Zita Swoon, Sukilove, Pox, Ow, The Rudy Trouvé Septet, I Love Sarah, Franko Saint de Bakker, Dead Man Ray, Sharko, Riefenstahl, Mitsoobishy Jacson etc etc
i H8 Camera, whose name comes from a misquote from a French journalist, formed in 2004 around the nucleus of The Love Substitutes (Craig Ward, Rudy Trouvé, Mauro Pawlowski and Bert Lenaerts) to avoid cancelling gigs due to illness. Rudy Trouvé gathered a bunch of friends and collaborators to perform a totally improvised set with no planning, leadership or prior discussion. i H8 Camera was formed and the concept stuck and the band began to perform more and more frequently with a fluctuating line-up of whoever was available at the time. This has continued since on a semi regular basis and as the members have more often than not been in bands together the music has been as suprisingly coherent as it is free and fun to listen to.
Since day one Jezus Factory Records have been massive fans of Belgian music and in July 2007 released the Pawlowski, Trouvé & Ward to significant critical acclaim. After listening to i H8 Camera and seeing the diversity of the music to be on a par with the late great Kiss My Jazz we suggested to Craig the possibility of some release. This is the first volume and will come in a deluxe CD book edition with exclusive artwork from Rudy Trouvé. This volume is particularly intoxicating due to some fantastic vocal freak-outs from the legendary Mark Meyers of Pox.
What you hear on this CD is a selection of songs edited by Craig Ward onto one continuous 53 minute track from performances spanning from 2004 to 2007.
ARTISTS FEATURED ON THIS RELEASE:
Rudy Trouvé, Elko Blijweert, Mark Meyers, Craig Ward, Jeroen Stevens, Aarich Jespers, Pascal Deweze, Mauro Pawlowski, Bert Lenaerts, Teuk Henri, Heyme Langbroek, Miguel Sosa, Ephraim Cielen, Adrian van Aken, Yuri van Uffelen, Thomas Noppe, Michiel Thijs, Frans van Isacker.
