Vote for our next Featured Act!

maryepworth1Back in May we announced the winner of our first Preaching From the Pews competition; a monthly poll to find the best new music out there.

Mary Epworth & The Jubilee Band proved the cream of the crop, and we tipped her for the top in 2011. We’ve already put up a track-by-track guide to her work, and with more features and an interview waiting in the wings, we’ve far from exhausted our resources – look out for an extensive influences play list, and our exclusive interview with Epworth over the coming week!

As for June – we’re going to put the vote to you, the readers! The acts listed below are all top notch, and as persons of good taste we expect you to love them all, but you can only FaceBook ‘like’ one of them, and in this day and age – that’s what matters.

The winning band will receive a load of coverage on the site, and will also be invited to headline a London gig at Buffalo Bar on November 19th!

To summarise: vote for you favourite of those below by going to their Preaching From the Pews page (linked) and either retweeting or ‘liking’ the article! All votes will be counted on June 29th at midday, when the competition will close.
