Former Ox.Eagle.Lion.Man frontman Fred Macpherson’s new project ‘Spector’ released the rather fine single ‘Never Fade Away’ this week(listen below). Noisey.com have just posted feature on Spector, they caught up with the band at the launch of their new single “New Fade Away” in East London’s favourite snooker bar Efes. Watch it below.
“At the heart of Spector is dapper nerd frontman Fred Macpherson. Macpherson cut his teeth with two other UK indie acts, Les Incompetents and Ox.Eagle.Lion.Man before retreating to the comfort of his bedroom with only a Casio keyboard for company. As his new songs took shape, Spector evolved from a one-man project into something much grander. Fred’s vision demanded a full band, and he began the process of recruiting a group of musicians to suit the personalities of the new material”
