Along with previously confirmed acts The Divine Comedy, Eliza Doolittle, Turin Brakes, The Feeling, KT Tunstall, Benjamin Leftwich Francis and several others, The Kooks have announced that they will join the lineups at both Alex James’ Harvest festival in Oxfordshire and Jimmy Doherty’s Harvest at Jimmy’s in Suffolk.
The headline performance will be in association with The Teenage Cancer Trust and be The Kooks’ only UK festival performance. The festivals are taking place between 9th and 13th September 2011 where the band will play the Saturday at Alex James’ Festival and the Sunday night at Jimmy’s.
As ever the festival’s boast a tantalising list of top chefs to take the audience through entertaining cookery masterclasses. This year Harvest at Jimmy’s will see James Martin, Mary Berry, Richard Corrigan, Sarah and Monty Don, Gennaro Contaldo and many more, whilst Alex James’ lineup is much the same with Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall and Rachel Allen to boot.
