For the first time in a career spanning twenty one years Spiritualized regrettably have to cancel two upcoming shows: Sicily and the Standon Calling Festival. J. Spaceman has been undergoing a course of medical treatment, which is near completion, and has left management no choice but to cancel following advice from his medical team.
Everything possible has been done to try and play these shows but it recently became apparent that Jason would not be able to perform. Spiritualized apologise to everyone who is affected and hope they realise that cancellation was the only unavoidable option given the medical circumstances.
This is not a long term issue and future dates and the album release will not be affected.
The forthcoming dates remain as follows and a new album is set for release early 2012.
