Four years on from her last long player, Feist has released the first taste of material from forthcoming album ‘Metals’ which comes out on 3rd October.
‘How Come You Never Go There’ reintroduces us to Feist’s affecting tone. Whilst the backing sways pleasingly like the palms trees of California, it’s shuffling parred percussion and swinging brass adding a skip to the step. Stream below.

Feist is to play her first UK show in over 3 years at The London Palladium on Monday 17th October.
Four years after the release of her Grammy-nominated, certified Gold album ‘The Reminder’, Feist returns with ‘Metals’. Recorded in Big Sur, California and co-produced by longtime collaborators Chilly Gonzales and Mocky, as well as newcomer Valgeir Sigurðsson (Bjork, Bonnie “Prince” Billy), like ‘The Reminder.’
