Fresh from their 2010 EP The Gambler, and with a summer spent rocking festivals like The Great Escape, Green Man, Liverpool Sound City and Southport Rocks – ute are back with a concepted single, split A side a reworked version of their tracks ‘Brother/Brother’ (Oxford Hearts featuring the Oxfordshire music scene) on August 15th. Listen to it below.

One early Saturday morning, members of the Oxford Blessing Force, Spring Offensive, Gunning For Tamar and a 10 year old trumpeter (amongst others) lifted their instruments, played as one – and created a gorgeous mixed up version of Brother – all fused with the passion of dozens of hearts, voices and melodies – a completely different version that demands to be heard! So we coupled the two, added a remix – and released it in a limited edition photo album edition, all with different pics from the recording and CD included, and online – making sure to ref everyone involved on iTunes.

Catch them live in the next few weeks:

13th August – Wilderness Festival
17th August – Old Blue Last, London
21st August – Green Man Festival
10th September – Modern Art Oxford
16th September – The Borderline (w/ TTNG)
