Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs will release ‘Garden’ on October 3rd. His second single for Polydor and another taste of what’s to come from his much anticipated debut LP, set for release in early 2012. Stream the Joe Goddard(Hot Chip) remix here:

Having originally featured on an early EP for his former label Greco-Roman, ‘Garden’ has taken on a life of its own, steadily building nearly 750,000 views on YouTube and becoming a sing-a-long live favourite. Combining a rich mix of trademark sub-bass, electro bounciness and washed-out synths, the song finds Orlando singing alongside the wonderful Luisa from Lulu & The Lampshades to create a lasting moment of real beauty. ‘Garden’ has also been given a worthy package of remixes from Joe Goddard, Soul Clap, Hackman, MYNC, Calibre, and Donae’o. Preview the Joe Goddard remix at the link above.

Providing the next chapter in what’s already been an amazing year, Orlando’s already successfully toured the States – his SXSW live shows caused a huge buzz – headlined London’s Scala, and crammed in a full summer of festival dates. He’s set to headline XOYO on the 10th November His latest adventure took him across to the Congo in Africa as one of the personally invited producers to collaborate on Damon Albarn’s new LP project ‘Kinshasa One Two’, working with local musicians. In association with Oxfam and to be released on Warp this autumn, TEED is featured alongside XL’s Richard Russell and Gorillaz producer Dan The Automator amongst others. Orlando says: “This year has been an amazing surprise; touring all over the shop, signing my life away, and writing my first album. It just feels right to give ‘Garden’ another chance.” * * * * * * * *
