Nirvana’s epic Live At The Paramount show streaming in full for 24hrs

Live At Paramount 24hrs

To celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Nirvana’s groundbreaking Nevermind album release this week, a special airing of the full Paramount Theatre show in Seattle filmed back in 1991 will be available for fans to watch in its entirety on Vevo today, 27th September from 5pm in the UK for a 24 hour period only.

The Paramount concert, transferred from 16mm film and multi-track audio, is the only known Nirvana concert shot to film and will also be aired for a special Anniversary showing this Halloween on Monday, October 31, but today will be your first crack at seeing the stunning show in its entirety.

Two tracks from this show have been released over the last month, so if you would like to see footage of Territorial Pissings and Breed then head over to http://www.youtube.com/user/NirvanaVEVO where the full concert will be aired later today.

The entire show from Live at the Paramount has been digitally remastered and looks like it was filmed yesterday. The DVD of the show is also now available in 1080p high-definition picture, uncompressed 5.1 surround sound and stereo on stand-alone Blu-ray or DVD.  It is also included in the Super Deluxe 20th Anniversary Edition of Nevermind, released this Monday 26th September via Universal Music Catalogue.
