‘The Joy Formidable prove that guitar music is not just alive- it’s kicking, spitting and biting too’
THE INDEPENDENT
The Joy Formidable follow a summer of stand-out festival performances across the globe with a UK tour and a new release in October. ‘The Big More’ is a digital accompaniment to the band’s debut album, ‘The Big Roar’ and features exclusive new tracks and a remix alongside lead track ‘Cradle’. The EP contains a Fang Island remix of ‘Cradle’, a live version of ‘Whirring’ from the band’s sold out Koko show, new track ‘Anemone’ and a cover of the Roy Orbison classic ‘It’s Over’, chosen by fans via a poll on the band’s website.
The Joy Formidable are currently on tour in the USA where their growth has been exponential before returning to the UK for a full UK tour for October. During their time Stateside, the band will perform on the Letterman show on Thursday 6th October.
