Life in Film – The Idiot

Life in Film - the idiot

Release: 14th November 2011

Life in Film are a feel-good London four-piece whose single ‘The Idiot’ is a snapshot of their infectious pop rock style. With a simple-but-effective pop chorus and distinctive vocals comparable only to those of Maverick Sabre, The Idiot’ is a promising way to announce their arrival on the scene.

With Stephen Street (The Smiths, Blur) producing the forthcoming debut album there too, there are hints of his previous work in the production of ‘The Idiot’ making Life in Film an all the more exciting prospect.

The track isn’t without its flaws of course, the lyrics are predictably cliché in places but this doesn’t stop it being a thoroughly enjoyable toe-tapper.
