Rising UK progressive death metallers Betraeus release their ‘Towards The Sun’ video online exclusively with Blank TV following a successful run on the Scuzz and Metal Tunne TV stations, and set off on soundshock.com sponsored UK tour.

“quite frankly, Towards the Sun is very good” Classic Rock Prog

‘Towards The Sun’ is  the the title track off their EP released on 14 November via Siege Of Amida Records,  which after a summer of festivals, including Download and a capacity EP launch show show at the Manchester Academy, has firmly put them on the metal map.

Betraeus head out on their soundshock.com backed tour throughout December, covering the length and breadth of England, and will continue to prove that they’re one of the most exciting young metal acts around.

Chris, Eddie, Benj and Paddy of Betraeus on the tour:
“We’d like to say it’s great to have an awesome webzine like SS behind us for this tour. They’ve been really supportive right from the start of our career. For them to pick us out on The New Blood stage at Bloodstock back in 2010 was a massive thing for us and we hope we can return the favour by continuing to impress! Live and die metal!”

Lee MacBride, Editor of Soundshock:

“I can’t think of a band more perfect for Soundshock to sponsor. Betraeus have definitely developed their own sound and I’m sure they’re going to be a formidable force in the British metal scene! Check this tour out!”
