Preaching from the Pews: Hysterical Injury

The Hysterical Injury‘s bawling, shrieking take on riot influenced noise is already well known in the South West, buffed up by an eternally busy gig schedule, the duo’s musical history and their previous involvement in bands like Venus Bogardus. Now – with a flurry of press attention centring around BBC Six Music and the band’s debut album Dead Wolf Situation – they’re about to go national.

The album will land on February 4th via Crystal Fuzz (with a little help from Strummerville). It will announce an explosion of Blondie infused rock, revelling on the instrumentation of Battles. Peddling only a bass and drum set, together Tom and Annie Gardiner make an unbelievable racket that nevertheless comes together to form structured and immensely addictive songs.
