Laura Marling to play at the Royal Albert Hall on July 7th

Following her recent and triumphant Wisdom Of Spring Tour, Laura Marling will play a one-off celebratory night ‘in the round’ at the Royal Albert Hall on July 7th 2012.

This will be a special event, Laura and her band will be performing the latest album “A Creature I Don’t Know” from start to finish, followed by a varied set from her two previous albums. She staged a similar event at the Sydney Opera House early in the year.

Laura will also be playing Latitude festival on Saturday the 14th of July. These will be her last shows of the year.

Laura’s third album ‘A Creature I Don’t Know’, originally released in March 2011, followed the success of her sophomore record ‘I Speak Because I Can’ – both that and her debut ‘Alas I Cannot Swim’ were Mercury nominated, and last February she won the Best British Female Solo Artist prize at the Brit Awards, and Best Female Solo Artist at the NME Awards.  She was also nominated for this 2012’s Brit Award for Best Female Artist and Best Solo Artist at the NME Awards.
