Following the massive critical acclaim for his single ‘ill Manors’, Brit Award-winning artist Plan B (AKA Ben Drew) has now confirmed the release of the follow-up track ‘Lost My Way’, which is set for release on 2nd July. The single was premiered on Zane Lowe’s Radio 1 show last night as the ‘Hottest Record in the World Right Now’. Ben also recently performed the song on Jools Holland.
Produced by Al Shux (Jay-Z, Lana Del Rey) and Plan B, ‘Lost My Way’ is taken from the eagerly awaited album iLL Manors, which follows his quadruple platinum-selling album The Defamation of Strickland Banks.
iLL Manors the album is set for release on 16th July.
The polymath that is Ben Drew never stops to draw breath; his first feature length film is also out soon. The iLL Manors movie, his directorial debut, is set for release on June 4th. He is also filming a BBC3 documentary that sees him go back to Tunmarsh Centre, the pupil referral unit in Newham that he attended as a young man, to work with their current teenagers on creating music. They will be performing this music together at the Radio 1 Hackney Big Weekend in June. This summer also sees Ben perform a 7 date sold-out tour as well as a selection of festival appearances including Ibiza Rocks and Melt Festival. In September, he’ll be starring in a remake of The Sweeney with Ray Winstone.
