The North East music scene is in for a real treat as Cult Festival takes over Hoults Yard, Newcastle – Friday 6th, Saturday 7th and Sunday the 8th July. The Festival will see over fifty bands perform over three stages as well as a celebration of Cult Movies, World Food and Real Ale.

Friday night will be a celebration of all things Ska and will be headlined by the legendary Selecter. Saturday not only features the much-anticipated headline show from the iconic Fall, but also live sets from the exciting and incredible new talents of King Charles and Sound of Gun’s. The Sunday will take a more Pop/Indie feel with the Sunshine Underground and The Sensational Jake Bugg.

“The setting will be the in regions most creative courtyard at Hoults, which really excited us”, comments North East gig promoter Steve Davis. “Local artists will also get their chance to shine with the likes of Symphonic Pictures, Alex Butler, Tomahawks for Targets, The Watchers and more- all will be featuring alongside their idols”
