Progressive metal features here about as often as a decent tune on daytime Radio One and today’s band will probably never appear on that particular station. I’ve always held a degree of regard for Coheed And Cambria, even though they have possibly gathered the most pretentious list of album titles imaginable. The latest of those is called ‘The Aftermath: Ascension’ and once again I enjoyed it. If you don’t like them or the genre, this won’t convince you otherwise but if you’re at least unsure, have an earful.
