Track Of The Day #213: Frightened Rabbit – Holy

I’ve been in eager anticipation of the new Frightened Rabbit album, ‘Pedestrian Verse’, which is released next week and, let me tell you, it lives up to all expectations. It’s a beautifully crafted piece of work, distinguished and refined and oozes professionalism and confidence. The Scots twang works as well as ever and it is lyrically superb. Last year’s single, ‘State Hospital’, sits comfortably and almost adopts a fresh degree of assured wealth. 2013 is the year of the Scots and I am proud to support that notion. You must hear this album for it will be one of the year’s very best.
