Forty years between albums is a tad long in anybody’s book, but here we have Iggy & The Stooges following up the classic ‘Raw Power’ from 1973. A foolish concept I thought but then I listened to ‘Ready To Die’ and it’s a great album. Out next week, it has the same rough edges as before and is just as dirty, somehow recapturing the spirit they once had. A worthwhile recording, worth your while listening to.
