Track Of The Day #283: Field Harmonics – ‘Everyone (edit)’

Cooly drifting in on the summer breeze, the brand new glittering synth neo-pop taster from the Midlands-based multi-instrumentalist Robert Glover, exudes a warm heartening glow. Taken from the upcoming (July 1st 2013) Walls LP, the former progenitor of ambient experimentalists epic45 and co-founder of Wayside And Woodland record label, now under the new guise of Field Harmonics, pines over a sparkling backdrop of shimmering electro on the elegant ‘Everyone’.

Peppered with musical references from both his childhood (Human League, New Order, OMD, Tears For Fears) and the present, Glover’s first solo album promises love-spurred paeans fit for the dancefloor.
