Sam Smith I hear you utter…what is he doing on GIITTV? [Otherwise known as Lilly Allen’s third cousin]  Bear with me readers. This is one of those rare occasions when a remix takes an original track and pushes it into the realms of wonderment. If I’m honest, this just might be baby making material.

Until The Ribbon Breaks is the brainchild of  Cardiff producer Pete Laurie Winfield who heralds a wide range of influences. Known for RnB, his single in 2013 ‘2025’  included pulsating drum machines, and drowning synths which opened his music up to a whole new audience.

UTRB ‘re imagination’ of Sam Smith’s Nivana is deep, haunting and ever so sexy. [Possibly helped along by the appearance of Ryan Gosling in the video] The vocals loop over each other in the most hypnotic way.

‘A Taste of Silver’ EP was released Dec 9th in the UK (enter details here for free download): http://www.untiltheribbonbreaks.com/UKdownload/
