Laura Stevenson’s recent album ‘Wheel’ is getting an official UK/Europe release on April 7, with a UK tour starting on April 9. The album, which was released in the US in 2013, mixes brash jangling guitars with delicate bittersweet singer-songwriter narratives, drawing subtle comparisons with Courtney Barnett and Torres. ‘Wheel’ was produced by Kevin McMahon (Swans, Titus Andronicus, Frightened Rabbit, Real Estate) and features strings from Grammy award winning Rob Moose (Bon Iver, Antony And The Johnsons) and brass from Kelly Pratt (Beirut, Arcade Fire, David Byrne and St. Vincent).
