Here we have a couple of odd looking Danish guys who go by the name of Reptile Youth, whose debut album from a couple of years ago failed to impress me. Not letting that introduce prejudice, I checked out the sophomore, ‘Rivers That Run For A Sea That Is Gone’ and boy oh boy have they lifted it up several notches. It’s got a new wave feel to it and combines guitars and synths superbly then adds a touch of scuzz to result in a dirty little pop record. One that is well worth checking out, so here’s a track to set you off.
