And España’s entry is folk singstress Lourdes Hernández. Not got you enthused has it? Well her stage name is Russian Red and her latest album is predominantly rock with a pop slant. It’s her third outing, entitled ‘Agent Cooper’ and a collection of ten men’s names, possibly former partners but I know not. All self-penned, she breathes life into each song and injects an attitude that reminded me somewhat of a certain Polly Harvey. All up then, a great album & here’s your opportunity to have a taste.
