Cate Le Bon previews 'I Can't Help You' ahead of UK Tour

Track Of The Day #504: Cate Le Bon – Sisters

Cate1small

Cate Le Bon‘s new single, ‘Sisters’ is out this week another sumptuous cut from her brilliant third album ‘’Mug Museum’’ that was released last year. Splendorous hammond organ notes that bleed with the beating Los Angeles heat, weave and strutt and prod, while a stately punctuated rhythm recoils and unfurls again, Cate’s elegantly lilting Welsh vocal restraint houses an exploration of the female roles in her life, inspired by the death of her Grandmother. There are no more words that do justice to how frankly bloody marvelous this record is….

Cate is back in the UK over the Summer for more live dates and festival appearances, before her headline tour starts in early September and includes her biggest headline show to date; KOKO, London on 11th September.
