Sleaford Mods are not. They may well emanate from said town but their music is a strange yet compulsive blend of The Fall and The Streets if you can imagine that. Essentially the work of Jason Williamson who is no spring chicken it has to be said and bears a disturbing resemblance to the significantly less talented Bez! The debut last year raised some eyebrows and now the follow-up, ‘Divide And Exit’ is set to rip those eyebrows off altogether. Tales of everyday life like toilets, masturbation, hamsters and shit. Throw into the mix an abundance of gratuitous swearing and drop as many names as you can and there’s every reason to dislike and disrespect the finished product – I think it’s great, so here’s a track.
