In fact Radio 1 seem to be full of love for them, as Zane Lowe has just premiered this as his ‘hottest record in the world‘. Good taste or copying – who cares? What matters is that this is hella fun. They’ve got a lot more listenable to since they crushed my ears at Dot To Dot a couple of years ago. I think they’re now my go-to loud band du jour. too.
There’s some mealy mouthed comment that this is ‘partly inspired’ by our future monarch George Alexander Louis, bless his (publicly paid for) cotton socks. Well come on, is it or isn’t it?
