NEWS: Deer Shed Festival 6

Not content to just sit back and bask in the warm afterglow of what was undoubtedly the unmitigated success of this year’s event, the Deer Shed organisers have now burst out of the traps with some incredibly exciting news about next year’s festival.

The family friendly music and arts festival held in glorious North Yorkshire parkland has just made its first major band announcement for 2015. No less than The Wedding Present are down to appear next year on the new and improved In The Dock Stage. Having appeared at the inaugural event back in 2010, the Leeds indie-rock pioneers will make a triumphant return to Deer Shed Festival 6 with what promises to be a very special performance.

In other news, for the very first time in 2015 Deer Shed Festival goers will be able to extend their stay and camp on the Sunday evening. The festival has always ended by early Sunday evening – in what has traditionally been a long goodbye – but next year everyone will have the option of staying right through until Monday morning, continuing to enjoy the fantastic range of music, entertainment, bars and food that will still be on offer.

Deer Shed Festival 6 will be held at Baldersby Park, Topcliffe, North Yorkshire from 24th to 26th July 2015 (or to the 27th of July if you choose to extend your stay). A limited number of early bird tickets for the event – priced at a ridiculously competitive £89 for an adult full weekend ticket (16 years +) – will be on sale from 10.00am on Friday 10th October 2014.

Tickets can be bought here.

Grab yourself a genuine bargain while you can because, believe you me, these early birds will just fly out the door.
