Bilingual Aberystwyth based four piece ESTRONS,which translates as ‘Aliens’ in Welsh, are a self styled gathering of strangers and outcasts who never quite fitted into any musical scene, postcode or nationality. Their new single (also called)‘Aliens’ is a booming bluesy blast of rock’n’roll: laced with wah wah guitars and driven by singer Tali’s enigmatic vocals that pulsate with a fearsome revenge, vividly depicting the push and pull of a relationship gone bad (“you say I am too much/I say you are not enough.”) Before exploding into an almost space rock crescendo of howls, cymbals and riffs. It’s the sound of The Gossip in a mortal grapple with the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Janis Joplin. They’ve given birth to a monster and its fine, mighty fine! The accompanying black and white video reflects upon Tali’s recent pregnancy, watch it below…

“Estrons released their first single ‘C-C-CARIAD!’ through Rasal Records. They’ve spent the last two years gigging across the country, in smokey attics crammed with hundreds of people , to grand halls.”
