Dates: 20th – 23rd August 2015
Location: Brecon Beacons, South Wales

Are you in a band? Do you want to play Green Man 2015? Green Man Rising, the festival’s showcase of fresh talent, is accepting applications from young musicians. All you have to do is send your photo, a link to your music and a 100-word biography via the festival submission form by 22nd May.

A shortlist of 20 semi-finalists will be announced on the Green Man Facebook page on 27th May, followed by the London finals in early June. The winner will get a chance to play the opening slot on the iconic Mountain Stage, with two runners-up joining the Green Man Rising stage line up in the beautiful walled garden.

If this wasn’t exciting enough, Green Man have also just added 40 bands to its already glorious 2015 line-up. Atomic Bomb! The Music of William Onyeabor, a revolving collective of internationally acclaimed musicians celebrating enigmatic Nigerian synth-funk pioneer William Onyeabor, will be gracing the Mountain Stage on Friday night.

Joining them are alternative folk poets Villagers, multi-layered Brooklyn three-piece The Antlers, the legendary Tom Robinson Band, Liverpudlian “Bee Gees on diazepam” All We Are, Welsh singer-songwriter Meic Stevens and loads more.
