Dates: 6-7 June 2015
Location: Victoria Park, London

One of our favourite metropolitan festivals, Field Day, has revealed new wave of artists who will be joining the likes of Caribou, FKA Twigs, Ride, Patty Smith and Mac Demarco on its ninth edition bill.

First up, 2014 Mercury nominees Jungle will be hosting their very own DJ bandstand featuring their favourite artists. Expect fantastic DJ sets from the likes of Beaty Heart, Django Django, Oceaán, Shura, Tei Shi, with more special guests to be announced soon.

This year’s partnership with the new music-discovery platform Tradiio brings a plethora of fresh talent including tropical polyrhythmic multi-instrumentalist Tropics, London based hip hop artist Antix, as well as Cholombian, who will showcase his coalition of striking cinematic soundscapes and hip hop-inspired beats to Victoria Park. Also confirmed for this stage are hazy R&B and industrial pop producer Luka, post art-rock band Yossarian and dreamy newcomers Wild Echo.

On Sunday 7 June, London’s Victoria Park will be treated to the sounds of Virginian soul maverick Matthew E White, who will be performing alongside the likes of newly reformed seminal shoegazers Ride, as well as the iconic Patti Smith (performing her 1975 groundbreaking album Horses), Savages, Mac DeMarco, Gaz Coombes, Hookworms, Allah-Las, Viet Cong, DIIV, Eagulls and many more.

Also performing on Sunday, Dutch multi-instrumentalist and 60s baroque pop/psych enthusiast Jacco Gardner will join hazy indie four-piece Genghar, London psych rock trio Yak, buzzy club-pop act Nimmo and alt-pop four-piece Beach Baby on the brand new Verity stage.
