Hot on the heels of last week’s announcement of more names having being added to its Arts line-up, Latitude Festival has gone and raised the bar even higher with its latest news.

To an already mightily impressive musical bill that includes the headliners Alt-J, Portishead, and Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds as well as an incredibly strong supporting cast that counts Caribou, James Blake, Manic Street Preachers, and Laura Marling amongst its illustrious number, we can now add the following names:

Bill Wells and Aidan Moffat (whose latest interview appeared here only this 068week); indie-pop duo Summer Camp; the quite wonderful baroque pop songstress Zola Jesus (pictured); British jazz experimentalists Polar Bear; Tom Waits’ former nanny and idiosyncratic Californian singer-songwriter, Jesca Hoop; Mercury Prize winners Young Fathers; electronic musician East India Youth; and old-world Northumbrian folk act The Unthanks, whose wide range of musical styles give a clear indication of the broad musical spectrum that is covered by Latitude Festival.
