NEWS: Leftfield headline Green Man’s Thursday night

imageLocation: Brecon Beacons, Wales
Dates: 20th – 23rd August 2015

20 years since the release of their pioneering album Leftism, Leftfield are still producing some of the most vibrant electronic music around. Today Green Man made the final headliner announcement: Leftfield, the band synonymous with the rise of UK dance music throughout the nineties, will kick start the party on Thursday night.

Other line up additions include GIITTV favourite psych-folk Liverpudlians Stealing Sheep, London’s noisy trio Yak, as well as an almost obscenely glorious array of Welsh talent. Darkly funny Sweet Baboo, Welsh Music prize winning harpist/singer Georgia Ruth, spooky psyche popsters Gulp and an ex-Pipette Gwenno are a tip of this musical iceberg.

Amongst the over 60 new acts announced today are also some of the artists playing The Rising Stage. Green Man Rising competition finalists Seazoo, The Carraways, The Boy I Used to Be, Kidsmoke and Girl Ray will be joined by the likes of Cardiff country blues of Art Bandini, Hackney’s all-female Deep Throat Choir and fuzz-fi pop overlords Trecco Beis.
