Berlin-based duo Me And My Drummer have announced details of their second album – Love Is A Fridge – set for release early next year. The pair have also unveiled a new video for ‘Blue Splinter View’, the first track taken from the new album.
‘Blue Splinter View’ is rather dreamy with a harder, darker side revealed in the chorus where the multi-layered backing vocals pack quite a punch. The video almost contradicts the track itself with its Sombre-faced Woman Spinning In Space, drenched in blue, red and gold light set up. Singer Charlotte Brandi says that it’s “about spinning on your own axis in space.”
Love Is A Fridge is released via Sinnbus, 12th February 2016.
