The Great Escape – the go-to festival to discover new, fresh talent – is turning 11 and have just announced an initial line-up of 100 acts set to appear at the festival in May. Among the line-up are the likes of LA’s Bleached, Scottish favourites Holy Esque and JR Green, and London buzz-band The Big Moon playing in some 30+ venues across Brighton. Also added to the line-up is Mumdance, Nadia Rose, Anna Meredith, Youth Club, IGLOOGHOST and God Is In The TV’ favourites Chastity Belt.
The Great Escape showcases emerging talent from all over the world every year, with music industry relocating to Brighton for a long weekend in the hope of finding the next Big Thing. The Great Escape has hosted some of the biggest and best loved names since its beginnings in 2006 including Get Cape Wear Cape Fly, Peace, Foals, Frightened Rabbit, The Futureheads, British Sea Power and London Grammar.
The Great Escape Convention featuring insightful panels, topical debates, keynote speeches and networking opportunities will run alongside music events between Thursday and Saturday.
