This year is really shaping up to be quite a 10th anniversary celebration for Live at Leeds. All set to join the previously announced headliners – the latest pop sensation Jess Glynne, Liverpool indie boys Circa Waves, the Southampton three-piece rockers Band of Skulls and those veritable indie stalwarts We Are Scientists – at the top of the Live at Leeds bill will be one of the last gangs in town, London’s very own Mystery Jets.

Amongst many more acts who are set to appear on what is already an incredibly strong undercard will be soulful singer-songwriter Benjamin Francis Leftwich, psychedelic pop merchants Blossoms, former Mercury Prize nominee and compelling soundscape explorer Ghostpoet, plus Essex’s ska-punk teenager Jordan Cardy in his Rat Boy persona. Add the names of Sundara Karma, Los Campesinos!, Izzy Bizu, and Blood Red Shoes to the guest list and it promises to be quite a 10th birthday party.

Over the last decade this award winning metropolitan festival has expanded “from a four venue bill to what it is today”. And what it is today is a wonderful wristbanded event that boasts more than twenty venues and performance spaces dotted across the West Yorkshire city playing host to what will ultimately be some 200 acts.

With 70 artists – both emerging and established – already announced, and with an accompanying digital festival, this promises to be the biggest and best Live at Leeds yet. Full details, including ticketing information, can be found here
