NEWS: Massive Attack reveal three new songs via their ‘Fantom’ app

Massive Attack launched their app Fantom at the beginning of 2016.  Described as a “sensory music player,” the app “remixes and reforms songs uniquely using a variety of environmental variables including location, movement, time of day, heartbeat and the integral moving image camera.”  When it was initially launched, the app had a wealth of new music contained within it, which eventually turned into their EP Ritual Spirit.

The app has now been updated and contains a further three new tracks: ‘Come Near Me,’ ‘Dear Friend’ and ‘The Spoils.’  Unfortunately, the only way to currently hear the songs is through the app, which is currently only available for iOS.  Considering the release of Ritual Spirit, though, it’s possible that these tracks may become available to a wider audience in the future.
