The solo project of guitarist Barry Snaith – who in the past has played with the likes of The Ramones and Chrissie Hynde – The Inconsistent Jukebox are set to officially release a new single, ‘Bold Eagle Fledging,’ tomorrow (5th August). A track that’s impossible to pigeonhole, it offers up a meaty slab of electro-rock that’s also peppered with the deadpan vocals of Las Vegas-based Ang Kerfoot. Think LCD Soundsystem with a touch of the KLF.
The song now has a new video, which has been choreographed by Parris Goebel (who’s worked with Janet Jackson, Rihanna and Jennifer Lopez in the past and was 2014 Female Choreographer of the Year at Los Angeles’ World of Dance Awards). It features her ReQuest Dance Crew and was filmed in six different cities across the world: Auckland, Soeul, LA, Las Vegas, Budapest and Manchester. The result is a pretty spellbinding swirl of colour, culture and mesmerising dancing. Watch below.
