Following the release of their acclaimed sophomore album Brilliant Sanity earlier in the year, London-based indie-pop quartet Teleman are gearing up to release its next official single, ‘Tangerine,’ on 16th September. Before it’s given that stand-alone release, Andy West has directed a new video for the track. Filmed at London’s MOTH Club, it’s filled with glitzy 70’s glamour and stars the band and a few juicy fruits.
West says of the clip: “The band wanted to shoot a performance video at the MOTH Club in Hackney – and they thought it would be fun if they were all playing the wrong instruments. The club has a bizarre mixture of local talent show glitz and military memorabilia, so I decided to create a tangerine themed magic trick as the catalyst. It was pretty close, but I think the tangerines gave the best performance on the night.” Watch below.
