NEWS: Drugdealer unveils new track ‘Easy to Forget’ featuring Ariel Pink

Los Angeles resident Michael Collins – formerly known as Salvia Plath and Run DMT – is now working under the new, more direct name Drugdealer.  His debut album under the moniker, The End of Comedy, is out on Friday (9th September) via Weird World, and is set to feature a number of guest indie musicians, including members of Mac DeMarco’s band, Mild High Club and Sheer Agony.

Having already shared ‘Suddenly,’ featuring Weyes Blood, Collins is now giving a late glimpse into the album with new track ‘Easy to Forget.’  It features Ariel Pink, who lends some smooth, toned-down vocals to the song.  The melody itself is lo-fi, jangly and loose but continually switches around its patterns and melodies, keeping you on your toes.  Similar in tone to some of Devendra Banhart’s output, it’s a laid back number for the end of summer.  Listen below.
