North London duo Tender – James Cullen and Dan Cobb – have been making dark and seductive electronica alone in their basement for some time, building up a wealth of sensual, R&B-tinged tracks. Last month, they shared the dark and minimalist ‘Outside,’ which showed they were continuing to develop as a duo.
‘Outside’ will appear as the final track on their first record for Partisan Recordings, EP III, due out on 4th November. To coincide with the announcement, they’ve shared another first, their first official video for new single ‘Violence.’ Directed by Jack A. Bowden, the clip is claustrophobic, dark and DIY, just like the band themselves. The moody video is broken up by contemporary dance and neon lights, again mirroring the band’s aesthetic. Watch below.
The duo will also be playing live for the first time later this year. They’re playing a headline show in London before heading off around the UK with Cigarettes After Sex. Details below.
