NEWS: Kathryn Joseph announces limited edition of ‘the blood’ and UK tour dates

Singer-songwriter Kathryn Joseph has announced plans to release a limited edition of her track ‘the blood’ in the UK and Germany on 18th November.  The track originally appeared on bones you have thrown me and blood I’ve spilled, which won the Scottish Album of the Year in 2015, and will be accompanied by a previously unheard track, ‘the coming.’  The LP itself will also be given a new run as a special edition white vinyl pressing, also released on 18th November.  Watch Joseph performing ‘the blood’ for BBC Radio Scotland below.

Joseph will also be heading out on a short tour of the UK in December after completing a short run of gigs with C Duncan this month and The Cinematic Orchestra in November.  The dates offer the opportunity to hear her Scottish Album of the Year-winning record in full, as well as some newer songs ahead of her plans to release new solo material in 2017.  Details below.

20th October – ICA, London (solo)*
4th November – O2 Academy, Glasgow**
30th November – St John on Bethnal Green, London
8th December – Clarks, Dundee
9th December – Mono, Glasgow
