NEWS: Barberos to release new album on Friday, host Spandex launch gig to celebrate

Liverpool-based noise group Barberos are releasing their brand new album on Friday (5th November).  The band are well known for performing in spandex suits and producing sinister sci-fi noise music using a barrage of drum kits and synthesisers.  They’ve already performed across the breadth of Europe and have played incredibly attention-grabbing sets at festivals including Liverpool Sound City, Raw Power, Supernormal and Primavera.

To celebrate the release of the LP, they’ll be playing a special full album launch gig on 4th November, at The Invisible Wind Factory, as part of Liverpool Music Week’s closing party.  The ’50 Shades of PINK’ spandex party will see the band performing with a number of unique collaborators including Stealing Sheep, All We Are and Charles Hayward, and should prove to be a one of a kind experience.  For tickets and more information about the event, click here.

The album trailer gives an insight into the weird world of Barberos and what to expect from the album.  Watch below.  Warning: flashing images.
