It’s been an impressive year for singer-songwriter Michael Kiwanuka following the release of his sophomore album Love & Hate and nominations for the Mercury Prize and MOBO Awards. Now, after touring the album pretty extensively over the last couple of months, he’s just shared the new video for the single ‘One More Night.’
It’s been directed by Nez of Pulse Films, who has also made clips for Ten Walls, Flume, Disclosure and more. It depicts a young man dancing in the streets, with some unusually tall legs. Nez says: “We wanted to create a music video that was both entertaining and evocative. We collaborated with the Brooklyn Jumbies to create choreography / a story of optimism and togetherness of a community, rising up and standing tall.” Watch below.
In April and May 2017, Kiwanuka will also be embarking on a smaller tour of the UK, meaning there’s a another chance to see him tour Love and Hate live. Details below.
