NEWS: The Chemical Brothers unveil video for ‘C-H-E-M-I-C-A-L’

Having recently unveiled their latest single from Born in the Echoes, ‘C-H-E-M-I-C-A-L,’ to the world, premiering as Annie Mac’s ‘Hottest Record in the World,’ The Chemical Brothers have revealed the video for the new track.  It’s been directed by Marcus Lyall and Adam Smith, who is creative director of the Born in the Echoes world tour, but who has also worked with the duo on their clips for ‘Galvanize’ and their film Don’t Think.

The video has drawn inspiration from children’s television, but the usually adorable characters are set against a black background and are rendered in shades of blue, giving them a surreal twist.  The figures were all filmed using a Kinnect Camera (usually used for motion scanning in video games) before being turned into ravers.  Watch below.

The Chemical Brothers are also heading out on a short tour of the UK in December.  Details below.

7th December – SECC Arena, Glasgow
9th December – Empress Ballroom, Blackpool
10th December – Eventim Apollo, London
11th December – Eventim Apollo, London
