NEWS: The xx announce 2017 UK tour dates

Acclaimed electronic trio The xx recently announced that they’d be releasing their new, third album I See You on 13th January 2017 via Young Turks.  Made over the course of two years in New York, Texas, Reykjavik, Los Angeles and London, the band said of the record: “We know these are uncertain times and we hope the joy & love we found making the record will get out into the world, in however small a way.”  They also shared a brand new track, ‘On Hold,’ which samples Hall & Oates.

The group have now announced a huge European tour taking place in early 2017.  As part of the jaunt, they’ll be playing a number of shows in the UK, including three nights at London’s Brixton Academy.  They will also be headed to Nottingham, Manchester and Cardiff.  Tickets go on general sale on Friday 25th November.  Details below.
